The INSEAD MBA programme was ranked number six overall, ranking of 100 MBA programmes worldwide, maintaining its leading position as the number one business school outside of the United States after (Wharton, Harvard, Columbia, Stanford and Chicago). INSEAD, founded in 1950's in France, became the number one business school in Europe again.
According to the results of the Financial Times survey INSEAD MBA programme has reinforced its rank among the leading business schools. The Financial Times ranking confirms that of Business Week (October 2002), which also placed INSEAD as the number one B-school outside the US. The FT MBA ranking, which was launched five years ago, today includes 100 business schools. A school's ranking is determined by its performance in three broad areas; the career progression of its alumni, research capabilities and diversity. The hallmark of the FT ranking has always been the career progress of the MBAs, calculated through the salaries earned three years after graduation. On average, INSEAD graduates will have made a percentage increase in salary of 145% from the beginning of the MBA to three years after graduation. The fame of the business school is rooted in its intellectual innovation and practical faith in multicultural diversity. Therefore, the programme serves as an essential tool for managers to develop skills to become well - informed, globally competent and efficient decision makers. The acknowledgement of the school is visible since an Asian Campus was created in Singapore in 2000. The diversity of the INSEAD lies in the fact that there is no nation, which would reach the 10% participation rate among the students or the professors. This openness is continued when this top-tier business school holds its first programme in the Central-Eastern-European region. INSEAD designed for Budapest its English language B2B Marketing strategy programme in 2-6 June based on the latest methods of its kind. As a result of this INSEAD makes a step forward in turning the region into a knowledge centre of the Central-Eastern-European region. INSEAD offers several programmes for its students such as MBA, PhD and executive programmes and B2B Marketing seminars. The relation of INSEAD and Hungary is not a new born one, since more than 60 Hungarian students, including Elek Straub, MATÁV CEO, Gábor Frischmann, Communication Authority Hungary CEO have already participated in different INSEAD programmes. The participants of the Budapest seminar can expect to be able to face the continuously changing market environment more effectively.
