American based Kennedy Information made an overall survey about HR Consulting firms based on the spending, preferences and perceptions of HR clients in the US. In parallel, another survey was made in Hungary on the same theme. The conclusion drawn in the case of the Kennedy report says that American managers seek more strategic thinking and services to be provided by HR consulting firms.
Hewitt Associates - also having an arm in Hungary - was ranked first in the field of HR consultancy. On the contrary, in Hungary companies need to be further motivated to try new services or assign HR consulting firms with a long term commission. This hesitating attitude might delay their development - turns out in the Hungarian Hewitt report. A press release was sent out by PeppeR at the beginning of this month elaborating on the two surveys.
